Slovan also won the Slovenian Republic Cup in 1982.
[2] After 1991, Slovan spent three consecutive seasons in the Slovenian First League and finished 10th, 11th and 15th, respectively.
In 1996, they merged with Slavija Vevče and formed ND Slovan-Slavija, which played in the First League under the sponsor name Set Vevče in 1997–98, but was relegated at the end of the season.
After another relegation and sponsor withdrawal, Slovan started on their own in the Slovenian Third League in 1999.
