The system used Sony FeliCa technology that is standard for IC cards across Japan, e.g. in JR East's Suica.
The system was introduced on January 21, 2002, initially for bus lines only.
Tram lines of Nagasaki Electric Tramway began support for the card on March 20, 2008.
The card was discontinued on June 30, 2020, with companies transitioning to using either the nagasaki nimoca or N+Tcard.
