It was produced and distributed by Goldwyn Pictures in association with Cosmopolitan Productions.

Bessie is befriended by Victor Stowell, son of the Deemster or Judge of the Isle of Man.

Victor is engaged to Fenella Stanley, the daughter of the Island's governor.
