[3] Namita Toppo, born on 4 June 1995, is a midfielder and a product of Sports Hostel, Panposh, Rourkela, Odisha.

[2] Toppo made her state debut in 2007 and was then selected for Girls U-18 Asia Cup in Bangkok, Thailand where she was part of Bronze medal winning squad.

[5] She made her 150th appearance for the national team against England in 2018 women's hockey world cup in London.

Namita Toppo, was one of the four players, who were made to sit on the floor of the train while returning to their home from Rio Olympics.
