He obtained a Master of Education degree at James Cook University in Queensland, Australia, in 1994.

[6] Namoliki Sualiki was appointed Minister for Home Affairs and Rural Development on 5 August 2013;[7] and served as the minister during the Sopoaga Ministry.

[8] No candidates contested the sitting MPs Seve Paeniu and Namoliki Sualiki in the 2024 general election, so they were automatically returned to parliament.

[9][10] In the 2003 New Year Honours he was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE),[11] and promoted to Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2016 New Year Honours, in both cases for public and community service.
