74 Naoda Assembly constituency covers Naoda community development block and Chaitannapur I, Chaitannapur II, Madda and Mahula II gram panchayats of Beldanga I community development block.

Jayanta Kumar Biswas of RSP defeated Nasiruddin Khan of Congress in 1996.
