Napier Road, Singapore

Napier Road (/neɪpiər/) (Chinese: 纳比雅路) is a major road located within the Tanglin Planning Area in Singapore.

He arrived in Singapore in 1831 and married George Drumgoole Coleman's widow, Maria Frances.

He was one of the founders of the Singapore Free Press and a shareholder of the Raffles Library and Museum.

Later he became the Lieutenant Governor of Labuan because of his friendship with Sir James Brooke (1803-1868).
