Naraini is a town and Nagar panchayat in Banda district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
It lies in the region of Bundelkhand, in the extreme south of Uttar Pradesh.

Naraini lies on the plateau of central India, an area dominated by rocky relief and minerals underneath the soil.
The city has a natural slope in the north as it is on the southern area of the Vindhyachal mountains ranges of Madhya Pradesh.
Winter begins in October with the retreat of the Southwest Monsoon and peaks in mid-December.
