Narborough railway station

It is on the Birmingham to Peterborough Line about 7 miles (11 km) southwest of Leicester.

[2] British Railways closed the station on 4 March 1968, but public objections led BR to reopen it on 5 January 1970.

There are services to Leicester and Birmingham New Street: usually one train in each direction every hour (including Sundays).

[5][6] There is one early morning train per day to Stansted Airport on weekdays only, plus three additional peak services as far as Cambridge.

This station has a waiting room, which is open for the same hours as the booking office.
