Naro-Fominsky District (Russian: Наро-Фоминский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the thirty-six in Moscow Oblast, Russia.
The area of the district is 1,547.44 square kilometers (597.47 sq mi).
[2] Its administrative center is the town of Naro-Fominsk.
[3] A part of Naro-Fominsky District was merged into the federal city of Moscow on July 1, 2012.
