Her father later moved to a retirement home for actors in Mexico City, where he receives care for multiple sclerosis.
Dupeyrón has a close relationship with her father and spoken publicly about his health to raise awareness in Mexico about multiple sclerosis.

The play premiered on 28 August 2015, and performances were held at Teatro López Tarso in Mexico City until November 2015.
