Natasha Rath Marcus (born April 27, 1969) is a former Democratic member of the North Carolina Senate who represented the 41st district.
[1] She earned her bachelor's degree in public policy from Hamilton College and her Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law.
[3] Marcus won election to the North Carolina Senate on 6 November 2018 as a member of the Democratic Party.
[5] During her tenure, Marcus has pushed to expand access to abortion in North Carolina, and signed on in 2021 to the proposed "RBG Act".
[7] In 2023, Marcus announced she would run for North Carolina Commissioner of Insurance in the 2024 election.
