Nate Station (名手駅, Nate-eki) is a passenger railway station in located in the city of Kinokawa, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan, operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West).
Nate Station opened on October 1, 1901 on the Kiwa Railway after considerable dispute between local residents on its location.
The line was sold to the Kansai Railway in 1904, which was subsequently nationalized in 1907.
With the privatization of the Japan National Railways (JNR) on April 1, 1987, the station came under the aegis of the West Japan Railway Company.
