Nathan Thomas (born 28 August 1972) is an Australian water polo player who competed in the 2000 Summer Olympics and in the 2004 Summer Olympics.

[1][2] Thomas was the captain of the Australia men's national water polo team in 2004.

He has since retired from water polo and has focused on other aspects of his life, such as his daughters Nioka and Zoe.

[4] His daughter Nioka has since joined UC Irvine Women's Water Polo team in hopes of one day to continue his legacy and represent Australia in the Olympics.
