National Open University

Initially, the university conducted entrance examinations, but these were abolished in 1997.

The classes were initially delivered through a dedicated radio station, and later expanded to include a television channel and internet classrooms.

Currently, the university is a fully accredited distance learning institution recognized by the Taiwanese government.

It offers a comprehensive range of educational services and has an annual enrollment of approximately 35,000 students.

NOU is accessible within walking distance South East from Luzhou Station of Taipei Metro.
