Nee Thanda Kanike (English : The Gift You Bought) is a 1985 Indian Kannada-language film, directed and produced by Dwarakish.
The film stars Vishnuvardhan, Girish Karnad, Jayasudha and C. R. Simha in the lead roles.
[1] Jayasudha acted as a Kannada heroine for the first time after Jaya Prada backed out.
All the songs composed by Vijayanand and written by R. N. Jayagopal.
The film was a box office failure and Vishnuvardhan reportedly told a senior journalist that Dwarakish was not a trustworthy person.
