Neil Morisetti

Rear Admiral Neil Morisetti, CB is a retired Royal Navy officer who is a Professor of Climate and Resource Security at University College London's Science, Technology, Engineering and Public Policy Department, where he is also Vice Dean (Public Policy) in the Faculty of Engineering Sciences.

After initial training at Britannia Royal Naval College in Dartmouth, he held shore postings and attended the University of East Anglia and graduated with a Bachelor of Science.

[1] Morisetti was appointed a Companion of the Order of the Bath (CB) in the 2009 Birthday Honours,[2] and the following November became the United Kingdom's Climate and Energy Security Envoy.

[3] In January 2013 he was appointed as the Foreign Secretary's interim Special Representative for Climate Change, a position he held for ten months.

[4] Following his retirement from the Royal Navy, Morisetti was initially appointed an Honorary Professor and Director of Strategy at University College London's Science, Technology, Engineering and Public Policy Department in January 2014.
