Nelahozeves is a municipality and village in Mělník District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.
Nelahozeves consists of five municipal parts (in brackets population according to the 2021 census):[2] The name was derived from the personal name Nelahoda.
His son, Blažej, continued to expand the estate and completed the construction of the castle in its final form in 1613.
The castle is an example of the castello fortezza, a design with faux architectural defenses, including decorative bastions and an entry bridge without a moat.
Today it features an exhibition of historical period rooms, demonstrating the lifestyle of a Bohemian noble family in the mid-19th century.
