Newark is a village in Kendall County, Illinois, United States.

Illinois Route 71 passes through the village, leading northeast 10 miles (16 km) to Yorkville, the county seat, and southwest 20 miles (32 km) to Ottawa.

According to the 2010 census, Newark has a total area of 1.12 square miles (2.90 km2), all land.

There were 329 housing units at an average density of 290.3 per square mile (112.1/km2).

21.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 12.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
