Newcomb (Navajo: Bis Deezʼáhí) is a census-designated place (CDP) in San Juan County, New Mexico, United States.
[4] Newcomb was founded in 1887 when Joseph Wilkin and Henry Noel set up a trading post.
[5] According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 5.9 square miles (15 km2), all land.
27.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
Central Consolidated Schools serves Newcomb as well as other communities in western San Juan County.
