Newtown is a census-designated place (CDP) in Reilly Township, Schuylkill County in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.

[1] According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 0.6 square miles (1.7 km2), all land.

There were 99 housing units at an average density of 152.7 per square mile (59.0/km2).

[2] Of the 93 households 38.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.4% were married couples living together, 6.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 26.9% were non-families.

About 3.2% of families and 1.8% of the population were below the poverty line, including 4.0% of those under the age of eighteen and none of those sixty five or over.
