[4] It is a two-storey Victorian Gothic style church constructed of face brickwork on sandstone base with stone dressings, buttresses and gable roof.

The building is symmetrical, with triple gothic arched leadlight windows with stone tracery above panelled doors at ground-floor level.

[3] The church and its pipe organ were listed on the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999, having satisfied the following criteria.

Out of the deliberations of the conference came the decision to hold a competition for a "Model Church" It was the winning design that formed the basis for this building, albeit modified by George Mansfield.
