Nicholas de Lange

Nicholas Robert Michael de Lange (born 7 August 1944) is a British Reform rabbi and historian.

Nicholas de Lange is an emeritus fellow at Wolfson College, Cambridge.

He has written and edited several books about Judaism and translated numerous works of fiction by Amos Oz,[1] S. Yizhar and A.

He gives lectures on Modern Judaism and the Reading of Jewish texts at the Faculty of Divinity, University of Cambridge.

De Lange is a Reform rabbi who studied with Ignaz Maybaum, a disciple of Franz Rosenzweig.
