Nicolas Bürgy

Nicolas Bürgy (born 7 August 1995) is a Swiss professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Danish 1st Division club OB.

[3][4] He started his career in the youth of local club FC Belp before joining the academy of Young Boys where he signed his first professional contract in 2015.

Bürgy returned to the BSC Young Boys for the 2016–17 season and made his debut on 10 September 2016 in a 2–1 home win over FC Luzern in the Super League.

He quickly became the leading defender and had a major part in the unparalleled race to catch up by the club which qualified for the promotional play-offs at the end of the season.

[6] On February 3, 2025, on transfer deadline day, it was confirmed that Thelander moved to Danish 1st Division club OB on a deal until June 2027.
