Niederönz is a municipality in the Oberaargau administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland.
[3] Niederönz has an area, as of 2009[update], of 2.8 square kilometers (1.1 sq mi).
It includes the village sections of Dörfli, Fluhacker and Wiese.
Most of the population (as of 2000[update]) speaks German (91.9%), with Italian being second most common ( 2.7%) and Turkish being third ( 1.8%).
In the 2007 election the most popular party was the SVP which received 36.6% of the vote.
