Nisar Memon

Nisar Memon (born 31 December 1942; Sindhi: نثار ميمڻ) is a politician from Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.

[3] Nisar Memon holds a Master of Science degree from Karachi University.

[2] Before joining the Senate of Pakistan, he was the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting[4][2] (in 1993 and again in 2002), the Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Northern Areas[5][2] during 1993 and 2002, the Country General Manager for IBM Corporation (1989–1999) and the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Engro Group of Pakistan (2001–2002).

He continues to be a Member of the Board of Governors at the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Islamabad.

Nisar Memon is the founding president of Amanat Foundation which has launched Pakistan Literacy Project (PLP).
