Nobuhle Nkabane

Nobuhle Pamela Nkabane MP (born 1 August 1979) currently serves as the Minister of Higher Education in the cabinet of South Africa, having been sworn in on 3 July 2024.

Nkabane previously worked as a tutor at the University of South Africa while serving as an MP.

studying for a Master of Science degree in International Business Administration through SOAS University of London.

[8] Nkabane was appointed to the Portfolio Committee on Sports, Arts and Culture on 5 September 2019.

The committee will determine Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane's fitness to hold office.

[11] On 5 August 2021, president Cyril Ramaphosa appointed Nkabane as Deputy Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy.
