Nobutaka Taguchi (田口信教, Taguchi Nobutaka, born June 18, 1951) is a retired Japanese breaststroke swimmer.
He competed in the 100 m and 200 m breaststroke and 4 × 100 m medley relay at the 1968, 1972 and 1976 Olympics and won two medals in 1972, a gold in the 100 m and a bronze in the 200 m events.
He won during the five-year era dominated by John Hencken and David Wilkie.
[2] In 1987 he was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame.
[2] He became a lecturer at the National Institute of Fitness and Sports in Kanoya in 1984, and a professor of physical education in 1993.
