Nord-Audnedal (historic spelling: Nordre Undal) is a former municipality that was located in the old Vest-Agder county in Norway.
It was located along the river Audna in the Audnedalen valley in the present-day municipalities of Lyngdal and Lindesnes in Agder county.
[4] The municipality (originally the parish) is named after the Audnedalen valley (Old Norse: Auðnudalr).
On 3 November 1917, a royal resolution changed the spelling of the name of the municipality to Nord-Audnedal.
The mayor was indirectly elected by a vote of the municipal council.
