[3] North Towanda Township is located near the center of Bradford County, on the southwest bank of the Susquehanna River.

There were 402 households, out of which 24.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.7% were married couples living together, 4.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 39.1% were non-families.
