Nová Říše (Czech pronunciation: [ˈnovaː ˈr̝iːʃɛ]; German: Neureisch) is a market town in Jihlava District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.
Nová Říše is located about 28 kilometres (17 mi) south of Jihlava.
The highest point is the hill Polanka at 625 m (2,051 ft) above sea level.
Surviving monks were sentenced to prison and labour camps by the Communists in 1950.
The monastery is connected with the neighbouring Church of Saints Peter and Paul.
