Nowruzan (Persian: نوروزان)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Kavar Rural District of the Central District of Kavar County, Fars province, Iran.

[4] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Akbarabad,[5] now a city.

[4] At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 3,332 in 698 households, when it was in the former Kavar District of Shiraz County.
