Oak Ridge is a town in Cooke County, Texas, United States.

[4] Oak Ridge is located in eastern Cooke County along U.S. Route 82, 6 miles (10 km) east of Gainesville, the county seat, and 8 miles (13 km) west of Whitesboro.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.12 square miles (0.3 km2), all land.

15.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 1.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

About 11.5% of families and 16.4% of the population were below the poverty line, including 19.2% of those under the age of eighteen and none of those 65 or over.
