Oaktown, Indiana

Oaktown is a town in Busseron Township, Knox County, Indiana.

[4] The community was formally incorporated in 1909 and became a regional center of commerce and trade.

The racial makeup of the town was 98.0% White, 0.7% African American, 0.5% Asian, and 0.8% from two or more races.

Of all households, 34.8% were made up of individuals, and 16.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
