Obrežje (pronounced [ɔˈbɾeːʒjɛ]) is a settlement in the Municipality of Brežice in eastern Slovenia, close to the border with Croatia.

The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola.

It is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Lower Sava Statistical Region.

The Croatian settlement across the border is Bregana, part of the town of Samobor.

In February 2010, Obrežje featured as the finish point in a four-day winter ultramarathon that started in Rateče, 220 km (140 mi) away.
