Ocizla (pronounced [ɔˈtsiːzla]; Italian: Occisla) is a small village in the Municipality of Hrpelje-Kozina in the Littoral region of Slovenia, near the border with Italy[2] The local church is dedicated to Mary Magdalene and belongs to the Parish of Klanec.

[3] The Italian writer Scipio Slataper wrote his masterpiece Il mio Carso (My Karst) in Ocizla.

Between 1933 and 1940, a cell of the anti-Fascist insurgent organization TIGR was active in the village.
