Oliver Fletcher

[1] In the fall of 1941, he enrolled at Santa Ana Junior College and played for the football team at the end position.

[2] During World War II, he served in the United States Marine Corps, participating in the Battle of Okinawa and the Occupation of Japan.

[3] Fletcher returned to Santa Ana Junior College in 1946 where he again played for the school's football team.

[4][5] He ended up playing for the Los Angeles Dons of the AAFC during the 1949 season,[6] appearing in three games, none as a starter.
