It was released on August 5, 2008 through Allen Kovac and Nikki Sixx's label, Eleven Seven Music.

It is their first album to feature guitarist Robb Torres, who replaced original guitarist Simon Ormandy in early 2008 (although both individuals were credited in the album's liner notes).
