List of the orchids of the Philippines

Many of them have showy, brightly colored and attractive flowers.

[1] Vanda sanderiana is unofficially dubbed the National Flower, as the only representative of the species is unique to the Philippines and is only found on the island of Mindanao.

The special feature of this flower is the fragrance some of the species of this genus has.

[4] Found in Himalayan mountains, Southern India and rest of Southeast Asia, the most number of species for this genus of orchids are found in the Philippines.
