Orichevsky District (Russian: Оричевский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of the thirty-nine in Kirov Oblast, Russia.
It is located in the center of the oblast.
The area of the district is 2,352 square kilometers (908 sq mi).
[2] Its administrative center is the urban locality (an urban-type settlement) of Orichi.
[3] The Pishchalskoye peat narrow-gauge railway for hauling peat operates in the district.
