The shopping centre is part of a 19-hectare development on Auckland Council property near Ormiston Road.

The shopping centre was constructed to serve the rapidly developing suburb of Flat Bush.

[2] Stage 1 of the development was completed in 2015 creating small retail premises and a supermarket.

[3] Stage 2 introduced a 40,000 m2 (430,000 sq ft) enclosed shopping centre with over 90 stores and started construction in October 2018.
