Ormsby is a city in Watonwan and Martin counties in the U.S. state of Minnesota.

[3] The community is located between St. James and Sherburn on Minnesota State Highway 4.

State Highway 4 passes through the east side of the city, leading north 10 miles (16 km) to St. James, the Watonwan county seat, and south 14 miles (23 km) to Sherburn.

Fairmont, the Martin County seat, is 25 miles (40 km) to the southeast.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Ormsby has a total area of 0.35 square miles (0.91 km2), all land.

About 2.7% of families and 6.0% of the population were below the poverty line, including 12.5% of those under the age of eighteen and none of those 65 or over.
