Colonel Osmond Barnes CB (23 December 1834 – 20 May 1930) was a British officer of the Indian Army and Chief Herald of India.
[3] However, according to The Gentleman's Magazine and the Annual Register, John Barnes of Chorley Wood House was appointed High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire in the year 1844.
