Pörtom (Finnish: Pirttikylä) is a former municipality in Ostrobothnia, Finland.
The name Pörtom is the old dative case form of the word pörte, a loanword from Finnish pirtti referring to a type of cottage.
[4] Pörtom was initially a part of the Närpes parish.
[5] The Berga glass factory was active in Pörtom between 1796 and 1883.
It was one of Finland's largest glass factories in the 1840s.
