Pınar Keskinocak

Pınar Keskinocak is a Turkish-American systems engineer at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she is William W. George Chair, Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering, Director of the Center for Health and Humanitarian Systems, and College of Engineering ADVANCE Professor.

Keskinocak earned bachelor's and master's degrees in industrial engineering at Bilkent University in 1991 and 1992, respectively.

[2] She completed her Ph.D. at Carnegie Mellon University, with Sridhar Tayur as her doctoral advisor.

[2][3] Keskinocak is the former president of the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS), for the 2020 term.

[3] She is the 2021 winner of the WORMS Award for the Advancement of Women in Operations Research and Management Science.
