Paberžė, Kėdainiai

Paberžė ('a place by the birch forest', formerly Russian: Поберже, Polish: Podbrzezie[1]) is a village in Kėdainiai district municipality, in Kaunas County, in central Lithuania.

[2] It is located by the confluence of the Liaudė and Nykis rivers, 32 km from Kėdainiai.

There are wooden Catholic church of St. Mary, former Paberžė manor (now the Museum of Uprising), rebels' burial ground.

After the January Uprising Paberžė was transferred to Russian officer Tikheev.
