Paderborn is an electoral constituency (German: Wahlkreis) represented in the Bundestag.
It is located in eastern North Rhine-Westphalia, comprising the Paderborn district.
Ahead of the 2021 election, Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock was transferred away from the constituency, and it has again been coterminous with the Paderborn district.
Due to Paderborn being strongly Catholic, the constituency is considered a safe seat for Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and has been held continuously by them since its creation.
Friedhelm Ost was representative from 1990 to 2002, when he was succeeded by Gerhard Wächter, who served until 2009.
