Palmyra Airport

Palmyra Airport (Arabic: مطار تدمر) (IATA: PMS, ICAO: OSPR) is a military airport serving Tadmur[1] a small city in Syria.

The base is currently operated by the Wagner Group and is used to fly in supplies from Syria’s allies such as Iran and Russia.

In December 2024, the Revolutionary Commando Army recaptured the airport.

[5] The airport resides at an elevation of 403 metres (1,322 ft) above mean sea level.

[1] Due to the ongoing Syrian Civil War, there are currently no scheduled flights operated to or from the airport.
