Panama–Russia relations are the bilateral relationships between Panama and Russia.
According to Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, about 1,000 Russian citizens live in Panama (both permanently and temporarily).
[1] During the Cold War era, there was a significant amount of contact between the USSR and the People's Party of Panama.
[2] In November 1988, the USSR joined the 1977 Protocol on the neutrality of the Panama Canal, becoming the 36th signatory to the agreement.
