Currently under construction, the line will connect the suburbs north and east of Paris in the Seine-Saint-Denis department,[1] and is planned to open in two phases in 2026 and 2028.
In March 2013, the "New Grand Paris" project was announced by the Prime Minister at the time, Jean-Marc Ayrault.
In February 2018, this was revised to complete the line by 2024, in time for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
